Electric car buyers will soon have a new option. EnVision Motor Company has named Gabus Automotive Distributors of Des Moines, Iowa as the sole sub-distributor of Electric Motor Cars (EMC) in thirty-three states in the USA. EnVision Motor Company, the exclusive US distributor for the EMC line of electric vehicles, plans on selling several thousand of the 100% electric vehicles in the coming months.
Gabus will be responsible for sales, service, parts, and dealers in its 33 state region. Electric Motor Cars currently manufactures the 100 % electric vehicles in Europe.
The EMC family of long range, highway-capable vehicles features the Electric Wagon (pictured above) which can reach highway speeds in excess of 75 mph and has a range of over 200 miles on a full charge. The line will also include a cargo van and a pick-up truck which can all be charged via any standard 110/120 volt outlet.

Range, Cost, Max Speed ? – All totally irrelevant when it takes on the order of hours to recharge – when they solve that problem I’ll consider it !
people like “get real” make the silliest comments. An electric vehicle that goes 200 miles on a charge and this maroon is worrying that it takes hours to recharge. I guess you don’t have a cell phone, or a laptop computer and never sleep ( you can charge then). I guess you are also one of those people that drive 500 miles a day towing a 40′ trailer full of steel uphill both ways too. People like you are why we are in the predicament we are in now.
Ok, this is simple, we can keep making ExxonMobile the now second biggest money maker with gas cars or we can use electric cars whose power is supplied mainly by public utilities.
And remember any time oil price has dropped the boys in the middle east start talking war and drive the spot market up. As we only get 10% of our oil from them you have to wonder why the price is where it as at. Many oil rich countries are laughing at us. The EV1 from 1998 was a great electric car, GM killed it. Watch the movie “Who killed the electric car”. You will also see how GM, Mack truck, and two oil companies help destroy many cities mass transit system in many major cities. After watching the movie you will understand the 100 years of GM screwing America, and its citizens. I want all electric with a range of 150 miles, which is what we had in 1998.
Also please note Apple computer the richest America company now bigger than ExxonMobile with all their money builds their computers in China. I understand the need to be a trillionaire. At what point does a company invest in America? When the unemployed riot in the streets? I understand the games is the person with the most wins. I am just not sure what they win. Steve Jobs was a winner, but I he is dead. When you die do you get a special place?
I can drive during the day and plug in my car at night, that’s what I do with my cellphone.
I just wish someone would realize the almost 10% US unemployment rate is due to the large companies doing all they can to put all jobs in China.
