Japan’s Miso Soup Design has been doing some very nice work with recycled materials for quite some time now. The ‘Formula’ chair, made from recycled material that they call Eco-Resin, requires only 16 sq. ft. of resin and has a one-piece, uni-body construction that requires no hardware or glues.

The super-efficient manufacturing process produces minimal waste – doesn’t appear that comfortable but it does look great.

I admit it, I like spiders…this steampunk spider sculpture (above) was created from the upcycled remnants of a clock and an assortment of brass and copper wire and various metal parts.

The piece, entitled ‘RELIC’, was displayed at the Museum of the History of Science Oxford UK’s exhibit, ‘Steampunk – Contraptions + Devices Extraordinaire’.
