i use everything recycled for Christmas, cards, i cut them out and use them as labels, paper, from many previous years some from 10 years ago, lables.. i just use white out on them, tissue, and ornaments are all reused from relatives , the only new thing i use are lights because i use low energy and they are safer
Not buying paper this year – using old bags, newspaper, etc. Also, I am buying my family “useful” gifts of things they need rather than random extra stuff.
I reuse gift bags.
All gifts are wrapped in reusable bags

I am reusing gift bags and boxes!
we bought all our x-mas decorations second hand! I scoured garage sales antique malls and thrift shops and found such wonderful things with great character.
To make my holiday’s a little greener, I am making more gifts myself, which saves on packaging and plastic from store bought things, plus helps build our local economy :) Thanks for the great giveaway, I love doing Vinyasa flow yoga, so this would be perfect!

This year we’re using magazines and newspapers as wrapping paper for the smaller gifts.
we wrap gifts in pretty patterned scrap fabric instead of buying wrapping paper.
This year I bought solar powered xmas lights. They don’t work that well, but at least I know I’m doing my part :)
We cut up all the christmas cards from last year and reuse them as tags for this year. Saves so much every year. Fun too.
My wife and daughter reuse scraps of wrapping paper and Christmas cards as backgrounds and accents for their scrapbooks. All their photo memories are lined with reused and recycled materials.

We always print on both sides of the paper with our printer!
I gift wrap with newspaper and magazines…but of course I get fancy with it. Lots of youtube tutorials are out there :)
I’m doing several things this holiday seasons to be greener. Because I live in an area spread out, I’m not driving to shop. I’m also not buying wrapping paper because it’s wasteful; I reuse colorful comics or wrap I’ve received around gifts. I use a real tree that can be planted in the ground after being used inside. I use plants to decorate with instead of nonliving things. I make and give gifts that can be consumed, such as food and bath products that are Earth friendly. I send e-cards instead of snail mail.
We do not use gift wrap.
