’tis a grand day – for a parade or pub crawl. I dedicate this post to the Emerald Isle, my favorite place on Earth. With a healthy dose of longing, I’ve compiled a few picturesque scenes to transport us there.

Lest we forget why so many fled the homeland way back when – the Gairdin an Ghorta, or Irish Famine Memorial Garden was created in 1997 (photos below):

Yes, it’s indeed a fine day for a Guinness draft and a few refills at your favorite local Irish pub. May the tunes be a good mix of traditional and new; and may your dancin’ shoes be ready to that silly jig.
If you’re in the big green apple, check in with the man of the hour at St. Patrick’s Cathedral as you traverse Fifth Ave. Pray for no hangover on the morrow. Or if you’re lazing and homebound, don’t miss The Quiet Man, for the 100th time — Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne in some of their finest moments. Remember, all roads lead to Ireland, Erin go bragh:)

Moderation….and planning ahead. Sometimes you make mistkes: forgive yourself, learn from it, move forward. I would love, love, LOVE this green bag! But any of the prizes would be nice. LOVE THE BAG!!!
