Then share you thoughts: What steps will you take on Earth Day (April 22) to help protect our planet? I am a teacher – my plan is to teach our youth to take care of our planet and educate them as to why it matters.
Mmmmmm shoes – Over all I’m buying less “stuff” for my life and finding ways to make what I have last longer or find a fresh use for it. That way I’m not makeing the planet work quite as hard.
I am driving less, taking less trips to the store and really thinking about whether I have to drive on a certain day or not.
Great shoes! I will be taking old televisions to our new e-waste facility.

Honestly, I’m not doing anything special on April 22. I prefer to make greener changes EVERY day — particularly when it comes to our consumption. I am considering taking my daughter out to do trash cleanup, or we may attend an Earth Day event in our city.

Renewing my vows — to Earth Day principles I’ve let slide over the year(s). Renewed awareness and renewed commitment to all the little changes that add up to big change for all. (batteries, lightbulbs, fuel consumption, bags, recycling, water,water, water)

Shoes and socks that are green. Great to see. I do as much as I can on Earth day and every day to make a difference. Recycle, compost, rain barrels, change light bulbs. Reduce and reuse. Then I annoy others by lecturing them to change too. Every bit counts.
Not specific or limited to Earth Day, but I’m starting to bicycle and walk whenever possible…great exercise and good for the environment too! :)

love shoes- almost all of them! My kids are doing a local cleanup at their school for earth day and i am going to continue that with my kids with a cleanup in our neighbourhood. I have my kids learning to recycle and reuse.
