A weekend steel cabin with a couple of twists … this 1,000 square-foot tiny house resides near a river on a flood plain – hence the stilts.  In addition, the Delta Shelter is solely a weekend abode, and thus is left unattended for days, or weeks at a time — the solution – the home can secured and closed-up into a tidy steel

Designed by Tom Kundig and Olson Kundig Architects, the 20′ by 20′ cabin rises 3 stories with the living room and kitchen occupying the top floor.
