In honor of Mama Earth Day’s 41st Anniversary, today’s roundup of sustainable fashion highlights treasures that tickle our fancy and harken back to when the eco movement all began.

Having followed the scene for several years, I feel like this year was really breakthrough – with mass retailers like Payless and H&M; department stores like Nordstrom & Bloomingdale’s; indie outlets like Etsy; luxe designers; and the proliferation of online eco boutiques, vintage shops and etailers of all manner featuring an ever expanding array of lust-worthy sustainable and vegan-friendly apparel & accessories. happy earth day indeed.
