We all know that our desire to be connected to one another comes at a great cost, most notably in the form of e-waste. Fortunately, Samsung is doing their part to alleviate this burden on the environment with their new Restore cell phone. While a whopping 84% of the Restore can be recycled, it also uses an energy efficient charger and is packaged in 100% recyclable material that is largely made of post consumer cardboard.
The cell phone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for texting and e-mail, one-touch social network access, a 2.4” QVGA display screen and a 2.0 Megapixel camera. This amazing phone can also have its memory boosted to 32 gigabytes using a microSD card.
Having 200 million friends has never been so good for the environment.
