If you’re lucky enough to be in Portland on the weekend of June 26th, you’ll have the opportunity to check out all the fun and excitement of the North American Organic Brewers Festival. The 7th annual NAOBFevent is being held at Overlook Park and will be host to a number of organic beers and beverages from around the country.

The venue also features organic foods, eco-friendly vendors, live music, Crater Lake Root Beer D.D’s and minors and entertainment for the kids. Beer samples are distributed in cornstarch cups produced by a solar-powered, zero-waste company. All vendors are required to use compostable materials and recycling stations will be provided throughout the park. Festival volunteers will be decked out in a combination of organic and hemp clothing. Last but not least, all electricity for the event will be produced by biodiesel and solar power.
So come on out, relax, and toss one back for the environment.
