Come August, consumers will be able to purchase a variety of ear buds, headphones, and mp3 docks at The House of Marley. The heirs of Bob Marley, including musicians Ziggy and Damien Marley, started the House of Marley as an attempt to preserve Bob Marley’s legacy. They hope to spread Bob’s vision of peace and love through eco-friendly products that are both sustainably sourced and waste conscious. This rustic coffee table was constructed from a piece of salvaged timber washed up on a Tampa, Florida beach after a hurricane. The craftsmen at Tampa’s Franklin Street Fine Woodworking added a simple glass top and casters to the wood’s original, weather-beaten form.
The colorfully worn salvaged wood vividly represents all that it experienced on both land and sea.
