Along with business partner Ellen Gustafson, Lauren Bush continues to push the boundaries of traditional retail and socially responsible commerce. In 2007 we saw the launch of their collaboration, FEED Projects, whereby the purchase of a natural burlap & 100% organic cotton FEED 2 bag ensured food for a needy child for an entire school year. And in 2008 they kicked off an organic cotton FEED 100 bag which was sold in Whole Foods, with the ability to provide 100 school meals to children in Rwanda.
Today, this small but powerful business continues its philanthropic journey by collaborating with mainstream retailers and providing financial aid to the UN’s World Food Programme and UNICEF:
- The Gap’s denim FEED USA bag

- FEED and Pottery Barn (at right)
- Clarins’ FEED Pouch
- Judith Lieber’s FEED 1000 clutch bags
