Malafor, two designers from Poland who debuted the eco-friendly Blow Sofa last year, expanded their line by introducing the Blow Armchair . Sure to get the conversation started, and easy to transport – simply deflate the paper pillow and undo the frame.

Can’t vouch for the comfort factor, but it gets high marks for novelty.The Blow chair is constructed of the same materials as its Sofa predecessor: recycled paper dunnage bags. (Dunnage is off-cut spare pieces of scrap wood.) The frame is metal and the straps are rubber. All you need is some air to inflate. Purported to be extremely durable due to 2 layers of paper and 1 layer of plastic on the interior – (hopefully, that’s recycled plastic but the designers, pictured above, know for sure). With a couple of markers, you can create your own design on the pillows, and when dirty, you can purchase replacement pillows as well.
