We received a few samples of complimentary Indie Tea products for the purposes of this Tried and True Green Products Review…The free samples included an unusual item, a tea-based bath soak. Put to the test, here’s the verdict: whether you sip or soak, everything is aromatic and comforting – you drink in natural goodness…
Having sampled some of their hand-made teas previously, (December, 2010) I was no stranger to the Indie Tea scene. Each tea is a unique blend of certified organic ingredients – packed with tasty exotic flavors … now you may slip to far away places with each sip … or soak.
You can actually bathe in a deliciously fragrant concoction, Wise Man’s Caravan Chai Tea, a soy latte soak, from their Tea Spa Collection. Totally decadent and perhaps necessary. Skin drinks in essential oils of cinnamon, orange, clove, frankincense and myrrh and about 20 other certified organic ingredients, as well as powdered soy milk, sodium bicarbonate and epsom salts – all good stuff. 100% vegan, too.- So after taking a soy chai tea latte dip, my mind relaxed, my skin soft and silky, I topped it off with a cup of Let it Roll Lucky Duck chai spiced chamomile tea. Chamomile meets chai bliss. For true chamomile lovers.
- Earlier this week I brewed yummy Cranberry Boobilicious – without reading the label, you can taste the prominent flavors – red Rooibos, Hibiscus and Rosehips, along with cranberries, pink peppercorns and pink roses – all organic, of course.
Las Vegas-based, Indie Tea is full of good taste, smarts and imaginative fun. Vessels and labels look cool – Let it Roll Lucky Duck loose tea comes in a reusable tin with a label graphic featuring rolling dice and a cute yellow rubber ducky. Chai Tea Soak (above, R) is packaged in a reusable glass jar. Discover new sensations @ indietea.com.
