It’s starting to be cold season with the accompanying coughs, colds and sniffles so we thought we’d shine a light on Maty’s Healthy Products – a line of safe and effective, all-natural cough and cold products for children and adults.

Maty’s provided us with 2 products for the purposes of a real, Tried and True Green Products Review. My 7-year old nephew, Austin, was deemed our primary product tester.

After a fun stay in Barbados and returning home to Florida, Austin developed a bothersome cough. Although unfortunate for him to be under the weather, it became the perfect opportunity for us to put our two products to the test.

Before bedtime, we gave Austin a dose of the honey-based All Natural Cough Syrup and rubbed his chest with All Natural Baby Chest Rub. He liked the taste of the syrup, we loved the scent of the rub (he paid no mind) and was off to bed. After a sound night’s sleep, he awoke well rested. Coughing was noticeably less. We gave him another teaspoon before and after school, and another dose right before bed. The next morning his cough appeared to be all cleared up. Just as a precaution we continued to give him half a teaspoon twice a day for the next two days … with kids in each others faces all day, we figured it was worth doing in order to continue to boost his immune system.
