U.S.-based, evolve motorcycles will premiere its two-wheeled 100% electric vehicles in New York City on October 6th.

The company’s fall launch will feature three models: titanium, neon and helium as well as a preview of two of their upcoming designs. The bikes are capable of speeds up to 60 mph and offer the highest battery ranges in the industry. (more…)

Designer Oscar van Wingen has created this concept for a solar streetlight and bench based on forms found in nature. The streetlight resembles the lilting shape of a leaf supporting a droplet of rainwater or morning dew, while the support pole mimics the arc of a breaking wave.

Got Your Back Movement is a non-profit organization that provides school children all over the world with uniforms.


the back story (no pun intended) … Primary school in many countries either requires a small tuition or is free. Yet, in order to attend school the child must have uniforms, which many families can’t afford. Some countries require the uniforms by law and in some cases the uniforms cost 5 times more than the small tuition. (more…)
