Functional sculpture – this one of a kind table is handmade in rural Pennsylvania by Ben Gatski in his Steel Fork studio. The table’s base is created from the hood of an old French Allis Chalmers tractor and features the character and work-worn patina acquired through decades of tilling the fields.

The piece is designed to be used as a small bar, entry or side table. The table’s top is hand cut with a plasma cutter, all metal parts are sealed with a water-based enamel making the table suitable for interior or exterior use.
The Steel Fork studio specializes in creating sculptures, furniture and other home decorating pieces from upcycled and repurposed old farm machinery.

Eco art has so much personality, yet I could see this piece fitting into so many places. It reminds me of the car seat used as a chair for guests on the set of the show, Top Gear.
