Love adding a little touch of the outdoors into your living space?
I do, especially when this natural touch soothes the soul, and serves a practical purpose as well.
New Hampshire-based Sea Stones creates elegant and funky functional art from stones and tree bark, with a sustainable approach to harvesting seas, rivers and land for their raw [...]

Innovative French designer, Francois Royer has done it again. The BoozBox (pictured below) embodies several concepts I can fully embrace, relaxing with a fine libation, recycling and offbeat out-of-the-mainstream design.
BoozBox is a mini-bar made of two, small, brushed oil barrels on a concrete base. You have to twist the top once to open the box. [...]

The good folks at Ed Phillips & Sons generously sent us a bottle of their fine organic vodka to put through our exhaustive (as in late night) and scientific (all drinks were consumed with exacting precision) taste testing process.
After drinking it ‘neat,’ on the rocks, and mixed with various healthy mixers like Mod Mix, [...]

Not long ago, about the same time we learned that dark chocolate and wine (in moderation) aren’t so bad for us after all, the “healthy cocktail” craze started to gain some traction. I noticed this especially in New York, where every neighborhood boasted an upscale, trendy vegetarian bistro (not restaurant, mind you) with mood lighting, [...]

Now this is thinking outside the box…or the barrel. Naturally renewable and recyclable wool is used to construct this rack for storing that organic wine you so greatly treasure.
Made in my birth state of Massachusetts by etcetera media from wool felt industrial factory waste, so color may vary.

A billboard at the center of Times Square will provide the raw material for a new green handbag from designer Helen Marcoschamer, a winner of the first-ever “Best Green Handbag” at last month’s Independent Handbag Designer Awards held at the New York Historical Society in Manhattan. Partnering with 360 Vodka, Helen’s next sustainable handbag design [...]

The snow has finally melted off our deck and I think I just spotted my first robin of spring. Time to start planning our first barbecue of the season and consider some new, green libations. My initial research has uncovered a new candidate for addition to our selection of organic vodkas.

After another tough day of trying to correctly spell ’sustainability’, one often needs to relax, kick-back, listen to a little Pepe Deluxe and reflect. LOFT Organic Liqueurs offers some tasty organic liqueurs to get one in the mood. Here’s what they have to say for themselves:
Inspired by the lemony sweet Italian drink Limoncello, [...]
