An unfortunate hair cut has prompted an emergency search for head gear, hats, or a tarp to cover this defoliated dome of mine. The Satori Sprout hat above is my initial find. This hat comes in a choice of three tasteful colors and is guaranteed to help any geezer’s street cred. Suitable for both sophisticated [...]

As new parents to son Kal, the Granvilles were compelled to create more alluring baby diaper and paraphernalia bags for both mom and dad, and then naturally branched out to also create cool bags for beach and kids. These grabbed my attention for their good looks, functionality and eco friendly quotient. (more)

We live in a neighborhood aptly named The Woodlands. We’re surrounded by loads of trees which offer up spectacular fall colors from every vantage point in the house. When you buy a house here you agree to abide by the rules of a covenant drawn up in the late 1980’s which disallows, among [...]

Like many celebrity product reviewers I love anything that has to do with moi. Until I can round up the venture capital for a line of signature Seamus Wear and home accessories with my face and paws slathered all over it this hand-printed kids t-shirt emblazoned with a vintage photo of one of my younger [...]

Disney’s cast members greeted all guests with a “Party for the Planet” pin, and the children were [...]

Kids say the darndest things. So when my 6-year-old asked me yesterday how many light bulbs we have in the house I wasn’t as shocked as I was curious about where her query originated. Seems the eco-savvy Easter Bunny brought her Ellen Sabin’s “The Greening Book” which hopes, among other wonderful aspirations, to [...]

A great way to indoctrinate kids to the lifestyle of giving – give a child a Markmakers gift card. This way, card recipients can shop at an online gift store for goods, services, and items needed around the world in order to help the rainforest, wildlife, or underprivileged people.
