The greatest danger in the shower these days may not be running into Anthony Perkins with a butcher knife, but your new vinyl shower curtain. The EPA and Environmental Health and Justice have come clean, this PVC product is laden with 108 volatile organic compounds, poisonous chemicals that off-gas into the air and can persist [...]

This is the only fabric shower curtain that doesn’t require a toxic (what’s that smell?) vinyl or plastic liner. This curtain takes advantage of hemp’s natural resistance to bacteria and fungus. It will get wet and need to air dry. And the manufacturer suggests an occasional washing, but hey, no plastic liner.
100% tightly woven hemp [...]

The high priest of hempGarden generously slipped me a bath oil treatment so I just had to do something I haven’t done in ages — I ran a bath. As we know, showers generally consume less water than a bath, and I take water conservation to heart. So to help relieve the guilt, I had [...]

I know I may not look like the consummate ladies man, a little short around the collar, a brief attention span, the usual comments…but think about leading men like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Rin Tin Tin, all short guys that if photographed properly ooze screen charisma…that’s me.
As we all know, a key to [...]

Evolve’s Roadrunner is a low-flow showerhead that saves nearly one gallon of water every minute you’re in the shower. This new innovation is integrated with Evolve’s ShowerStart™ technology so you’re conserving water while your shower’s warming, too. The company estimates that Roadrunner saves about 8 gallons of water for every 5 minute shower.

Let me draw you a map — I’m sure you’d agree, given the serious drought conditions they’re experiencing, it makes sense that the Aussies would come up with a clever water-saving device or two…

Sometimes Valentine’s Day seems unfair. Your guy has the usual selection of cute girly gifts - flowers, chocolate, and bath products, but women have to get creative. It’s almost like birthdays or Christmas, in fact - you have to find a “man gift.” Fortunately, the Organic Bath Co. offers a convenient (and manly!) set of: [...]

A multi-racial assortment of tiny, disembodied, hands cleansing your body…weird stuff. These little, slightly scented, soaps are made and packaged by ‘hand’ from sweet goat’s milk and vegetable glycerin - at least 10 hands of differing fleshtones in each order. Disturbingly unique.
